RAIL+MOTOR COACH

Rail+Motor Coach Tours are new for Rail Travel Tours. These are tours that combine both Rail and Highway Coach travel to ensure a fun and safe experience for all our guests. With some trains not running on the days we need, we resort to comfortable and modern Highway Coaches to transport our guests for a portion of the tour.  That said, we will always have a rail component to every tour we create and provide.

Rail Travel Tours guests on our Independent Packages will receive a copy of the CANADIAN RAIL TRAVEL GUIDE to enjoy while on their rail journey with us and keep for future trips. (While supplies last)

All aboard for an exciting and informative ride. The new Canadian Rail Travel Guide is like having your own personal tour guide to ensure you get the most out of your time on Canada's scenic rail routes.
This Conveniently-sized book is filled with essential information including: mile-by-mile descriptions of points of interest, locations of communities along the rail routes, route histories, overviews of destination attractions, contact information and addresses for arranging overnight accommodation, and more.
Extensively researched, the Canadian Rail Travel Guide contains approximately 150 detailed colour maps and photographs of all the rail passenger routes across Canada. With a special section on everything you need to know before you go, you won't want to plan a rail trip without it.

For each of the tours, you will see additional tags that identify the Season the tour takes place - Spring, Summer, Fall, Winter, or 4 Seasons and the Accessibility of the tour:

Easy
Easy accessibility open to all. Designed with everyone in mind, no matter their mobility. Minimal amount of walking with some stairs to climb.
Moderate
A little more challenging compared to easy tours. Moderate amount of walking, some stairs to climb, climbing in and out of large spaces.
Challenging
Mobility and Accessibility will be challenged on these tours. May include walking, many steps and some climbing up, in and around the attractions and side-tours. At times longer periods of walking, climbing and stairs. Getting in and out of boats, buggies or other forms of transportation as part of attractions.
